WW2 History Club – July Movie Night

When:              Wednesday, July 17th

Where:            Seabreeze Rec Center

Movie:   Judgment at Nuremberg depicts the moral and emotional struggles as a judge tries to balance justice and what is right.

It has been three years since the most important Nazi leaders had already been tried. On trial are four jurists who are accused of "legalizing" Nazi racial policies and using their offices to conduct Nazi sterilization and cleansing policies.   Starring Spencer Tracey as retired American judge, Dan Haywood, who has a daunting task ahead of him. The Cold War is heating up and no one wants any more trials as Germany, and Allied governments, want to forget the past.  But is that the right thing to do is the question that the tribunal must decide.  Also starring Burt Lancaster, Richard Widmark, Marlene Dietrich, Maximilian Schnell, Judy Garland and Montgomery Clift.
