The WW2 History Club is an activities club of The Villages (Florida retirement community).  For more on the club, click here.

Official membership is limited to residents of The Villages (permanent or seasonal) and their guests.  These members normally sign up at one of the club's meetings.  You can also send an email to the webmaster with your name, email address, type of resident (permanent or seasonal) and info on which email dist lists are of interest (see Email Note below).  Official members can:

  • participate in club-sponsored events within and outside The Villages

  • attend WW2 History Club meetings (club meeting, movie night, book club)

  • receive email (see Email Note below)

  • access the web site

  • submit items for the web site (Daily Items or Member's Corner)

  • submit questions for our panel of experts

  • participate in the WW2HC Forum (not yet available)

We also have a membership category called "corresponding members" for people who are not Villages residents or guests.  Anyone can be a corresponding member; simply send an email to the webmaster with your name, email address and info on which email dist lists are of interest (see Email Note below).  A corresponding member can

  • participate in club-sponsored events outside The Villages, e.g., trips

  • receive email (see Email Note below)

  • access the web site

  • submit items for the web site (Daily Items or Member's Corner)

  • submit questions for our panel of experts

  • participate in the WW2HC Forum (not yet available)

The two things corresponding members can not typically do is

  • participate in club-sponsored events within The Villages

  • attend WW2 History Club meetings (club meeting, movie night, book club)

However, any corresponding member who is "in the area" should contact the webmaster.  He will get them guest privileges for the time they are here and they can participate in any club functions
